During my time working with ITV Wales as part of their digital team, I had the opportunity to write an exciting article about the newly launched rooftop adventure course at the iconic Principality Stadium in Cardiff. This thrilling attraction, situated atop one of Wales’ most famous landmarks, offers visitors the chance to experience a unique and adrenaline-pumping adventure with stunning views of the city.

I published another article for ITV Wales based on the Six Nations and how it should stay free-to-air on television. Through this article, I explore a broader conversation about the future of sports broadcasting in the UK, with a focus on ensuring that iconic events like the Six Nations remain accessible to all viewers, regardless of financial means.

BBC Wales - Vet Bills 

During my time working with the High Impact Team, I pitched an exclusive story that was commissioned and published on the BBC News website, as well as reported on Wales Today. The story garnered significant attention and was an important piece of journalism that highlighted a crucial issue in the local community.

As part of the team, I played a key role in bringing this story to life. I wrote the article, ensuring it was engaging, informative, and factually accurate. I was deeply involved in the research, conducting interviews with key contributors to gather firsthand accounts and insights, which added depth and authenticity to the story. 

CJS News - Reforms for Welsh Farmers 

I wrote an article about a young farmer in Gwaelod-y-garth, Ethan Williams, who expressed concerns over proposed Welsh Government reforms that aimed to reward sustainable farming practices. It was published on our CJS account and I also made this story into a TV package and TikTok video. 

CJS News - Teachers Being Abused

While working with CJS News, I covered a developing story about teachers at Pencoedtre High School in Barry who walked out of classrooms in protest of alleged abuse by students. The teachers claimed they had been physically and emotionally attacked, with reports of staff being punched, bitten, spat at, and headbutted. In my article, I highlighted the distressing situation at the school, where 136 students have been suspended since September due to bad behavior and mistreatment of staff.

CJS News - Cardiff Market Renovations 

At CJS News, I wrote an article about the ongoing confusion and uncertainty surrounding the renovation of Cardiff Market. Through interviews with stall owners and the council, I worked to capture the concerns of the traders while providing an overview of the planned renovations and the council’s response. My role involved writing and editing the piece, making sure it accurately conveyed the stall owners' frustrations and provided essential information about the upcoming changes to the market.
